Summary
The Old Town Archery Center and Pro Shop hosted the first of many Archery Pro-Shop Seminars taught by leading professional archers from all over the United States. Professional Archer Eric Griggs, one of Precision Shooting Equipment’s Pro-Staff, taught both beginners and advanced archers in the all day seminar on Saturday. The event was followed up by an indoor tournament on Sunday hosted the Abenaki Archers Chapter of the Maine Archery Association, at the 24 lane indoor target range in Old Town. Bow hunter and target archers, of all ages, from all over Maine competed for NFAA awards. A guest or non-competitive “shoot just for fun” class is always included for those who do not wish to enter the competition. The maximum score possible in the “Vegas” style 45 arrow tournament is 450.
